Salon des Vins de Loire - Angers

Angers, Maine-et-Loire (49), hosted its annual Salon des Vins de Loire on 2nd, 3rd & 4th February and for those unable to make it this year, here are a few snaps taken by Gérald before his day got underway.

Open to Traders and the general public this wine festival houses the largest number of Loire Valley vignobles at any one given time and is some what of a 'diary date' and fun event to experience.

..... and not taking your visit for granted, the French politess was there to thank you upon your exit.

Joyeux Anniversaire Augustin - 1 Year Old !

On Monday 2 February we celebrated Augustins first birthday and I do believe it was a far bigger event for Maman & Papa than for Augustin.

Present opening was followed by birthday cake and the traditional 'chant' of Happy Birthday / Joyeux Anniversaire.

And true to baby form, left to play with his new toys Augustins interest was with the presents packaging rather than with the presents themselves !

Patterson's Restaurant - London

On Monday 23 February Gérald will be hosting a private wine tasting soirée at Patterson's Restaurant, 4 Mill Street, London, W1S.

Accompany the Domaines selected wines will be a rather scrumptous 6 course dinner.
